Flights and nets for inclusion
It’s obvious that we love feathers, so we want the nearly 400 registrants for the badminton competition to fill the Fontsanta sports center (in the west of the city, close to the swimming competitions) so that shuttlecocks and rackets will be swinging accompanied with applause and shouts of encouragement. Is badminton your sport?
Register now and start your warm up, since the tournament starts very soon.
Remember that you will need to show your accreditation when accessing to the competition.
Each participant is guaranteed a minimum of three matches per event.
Don’t forget your bottle or canteen; there will be drinking water stations to refill it.
Bring your badminton racket, and although we provide the official ones, it’s helpful to bring some shuttlecocks to warm up.

HOW
- We offer All-Gender, Women’s, and Men’s categories, with individual events, doubles, and mixed doubles (at least one player of a different gender).
- Preliminary rounds will be played in a round-robin format.
- Final rounds will follow a single-elimination format.
- All preliminary matches will be played best of three games to 21 points.
- At 20–20, the first player/pair to reach 21 points wins the game.
- Players not qualifying for the final rounds will play an additional consolation round.
- The organization may reassign athletes to a different division if, after publishing the categories, justified complaints are received and a level adjustment is necessary.

There are four categories of play and the standard categories and division are:
- A+ International and national-team level
- A- Regional level
- B+ Competitive level
- B- Intermediate level
- C+ Recreational with competition/tournament experience
- C- Recreational with competition/tournament experience
