Registration or preparation, which comes first?
Remember that you will need to show your accreditation to access the competition venue.
Don’t forget your goggles, racing swimsuit, towel and timing chip if you want.

HOW
Individual competition following World Aquatics Open Water Swimming rules
Competition Venue:
- The open water competition will take place at Cabanyal Beach, in front of the Las Arenas Hotel in the city of Valencia.
- The competition area will include:
- Start and finish area
- Marked competition course
- Feeding station area
- Medical and emergency area
- Technical and officiating area
- Safety boats
- Athlete services
We offer a 2,5 and 5K race length for All gender, Men & Women categories.
Competition System:
- Events shall be conducted in accordance with the format established by the organization and the current World Aquatics regulations.
- The organization shall establish:
- Start procedures and participant distribution according to age groups
- Timing system using chip technology – CRONO4SPORT
- Course monitoring through safety boats and the officiating jury
- In all events, time limits will be applied after the first swimmer finishes, according to the following rule: 20 minutes per each 1.5 km
- The organization may modify or suspend events when weather or safety conditions so require.
