HOW
- The competition is organized in the following gender categories:
- Men’s Division
- Women’s Division
- All-Gender Division
- Each team consists of two players.
- Mixed pairs (with at least one cis male) will compete in the all gender’s or Men’s division
- If registration numbers are low, gender divisions may be combined to ensure competitive viability.
- All players must be registered in advance and may only play for one team per division.
- Depending on local registration and facilities, the tournament can include both:
- Competitive Divisions (A/BB)
- Recreational Divisions (B/C)
- The exact number of divisions and the grouping of categories are determined by the local organizing committee in consultation with the Federation of Gay Games Volleyball representative.
- Teams will play a minimum of four matches in the Preliminary Rounds, two games per match. Knockout Round matches will be played best of 2 out of 3 games

Wednesday 1 July
09am – 03pm: All group stage matches.

09am – 03pm: All knockout rounds up to the semifinals.
Friday 3 July
09am – 03pm: Semifinals and finals.
WHO
Divisions are structured by skill level, following the standard Gay Games Volleyball rating system:
- Division A (Advanced/Competitive): Highly skilled players with strong beach experience; often national or top-club level.
- Division BB (Intermediate/Competitive): Experienced players with good technical level and tournament experience.
- Division B (Recreational/Intermediate): Recreational players with some understanding of the game and regular practice.
- Division C (Recreational/Beginner): Players with limited experience; emphasis on participation and fun.
Players and teams self-select their division upon registration, but the organizing committee reserves the right to reclassify teams to maintain competitive balance.
This registration is also for you if you live with a disability.
