Feel the adrenaline rush as you row to the rhythm of your team in this vibrant competition. Dragon boat has 2000 years of history spreading from China all over the planet. Coordination and power are key to get your dragon across the finish line. You will be rowing against discrimination and pushing for inclusion in boats decorated with the head and tail of this legendary animal. The Xúquer river channel, in Cullera, 40 km from the city, will proudly host this competition.
Don’t forget your water bottle, there will be water stations to refill it.
Personal Dragon Boat equipment: Dragon boat paddle, swimwear, PFD if needed.
PFDs will be available to rent.

WHO
Open / Non-Gender Category:
- No restrictions on crew composition, including gender identity, or age (as long as they are over 18).
Women’s Category:
- Must all identify as female and of any age over 18.
Senior Category:
- No restrictions on crew composition, including gender, but they must all be over the age of 60 by June 1, 2026.
WHAT
- All boats used by the athletes will be provided.
- Dragon boats are standard sized – 12 meters in length, seating 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, and 1 steersman.
- Small boats – 9m in length, seating 10-12 paddlers, 1 drummer and 1 steersman.
- Drums and paddles will also be provided if needed.
