The quadrennial Gay Games offer a unique opportunity to train, learn, share, and challenge yourself with other LGBTQIA+ martial artists, from different martial art styles, from all over the world during four-days of fun, friendship, and camaraderie.
Whether you are a complete novice, or have decades of wise experience under your belt, we encourage you to register and join us in Valencia for what we promise will be the most incredible four-days of your martial arts journey to date.
The International Association of Gay & Lesbian Martial Artists (IAGLMA) governs the floor tournament which is open to everyone and will be familiar to martial artists who practice Bajiquan, Capoeira, Hapkido, Jeet Kune Do, Karate Sambo, Krav Maga, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Pokelan, TaeKwonDo, Tang Soo Do, Wing Chun, Wushu, etc.
The IAGLMA tournament is open to everyone, from all martial arts, and all experience levels, participating together in one combined tournament experience. IAGLMA tournaments focus on safety, friendship, camaraderie, and achieving your personal best. As all martial arts styles have their own unique tournament concepts and rules, IAGLMA took the best of all of these to form the equally unique IAGLMA Tournament Model. Some rules and concepts will be familiar to you while others will be entirely new to you. All rules and concepts are designed to allow everyone an equal opportunity to participate, learn, enjoy, and grow in a safe and supportive tournament environment.
The IAGLMA Tournament Model has been used successfully since Gay Games III in Vancouver, Canada in 1990 and in every quadrennial Gay Games, and in many local events since then. Join us in Valencia and become a part of the IAGLMA international Martial Arts family.
