Strength and strategy on the field
Any sport is a powerful tool for social change. Rugby is no less so, and it does so by tackling every play with determination and teamwork. A contact sport with local and national lgtbiq+ representation, it demands stamina, skill and tactics to overcome your opponents. Come give it all on the field, lead your team to victory and then, of course, to the third half at The Games Village.
Register and you’ll have the chance to play rugby on the fields of the old Turia riverbed.
Don’t forget your water bottle or canteen, there will be drinking water taps to refill it.
You will need to bring your official team uniform such as a t-shirt and shorts with the number. You may bring two sets, one light and one dark.

- Rugby Fifteens, a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 22 players.
