Register for our Basket 5×5, and if you still don’t have someone to play with, go find those four people who will join you to reach for your best.
Remember that you will need to show your accreditation to access the competition venue.
Don’t forget your bottle or canteen; there will be drinking water taps for refills.
You’ll need to bring your official team uniform, such as a T-shirt and shorts with your team number. You can bring two sets, one light and one dark.

HOW
General Rules
- All games follow FIBA rules.
- Game duration: 4 periods of 10 minutes running time, except for the last minute of each period, which is played with a stopped clock.
- The clock also stops during free throws.
- The All gender division will use ball size 7, women’s size 6
Tournament Structure:
- Preliminary Rounds (Pool Play)
- Round-robin format
- Maximum of two games per day
- Classification Rounds
- May include round-robin and/or double-elimination formats
- Final format depends on the total number of registered teams.

WHO
The following events will be offered in All-Gender and Women’s divisions.
Open Division
- This category will be divided into Open A, B, and/or C to respect different competitive levels.
Senior Masters (50+)
- Full-court 5-on-5, for athletes 50 years and older.
One full-court 5-on-5 wheelchair OPEN competition.
- All-Gender division
- Open to wheelchair athletes and able-bodied allies (using a chair)
- Standalone full-court competition
- Goal: 4 teams (otherwise played as an exhibition)
Each team must consist of between a minimum of 7 players and a maximum 15. In addition, teams may have a coach, assistant coach and manager who are non-playing members of the team. All these people must be registered to participate in the Gay Games basketball competition.
WHERE
This registration is also for you if you live with a disability.
