- Gay Games València 2026 will have a dedicated presence at FITUR on Wednesday, 21 January at 12:30 p.m., in the FITUR LGBT+ area
- The presentation will showcase progress updates and expectations for the world’s largest LGBTIQA+ sporting event of the year
Gay Games València 2026 will take part in the upcoming edition of FITUR (21–26 January). On Wednesday, 21 January at 12:30 p.m., the local organising committee will present its latest developments and future outlook to key industry stakeholders at FITUR LGBT+, a strategic platform for promoting diverse, representative and safe destinations.
At FITUR LGBT+, Gay Games València 2026 will highlight an offering that goes far beyond tourism. An event of this scale not only fosters visibility, but also delivers a significant economic impact and plays a key role in driving social change.
During the presentation, the organisation will share key figures, including more than 6,000 registrations already confirmed, the extensive multi-sport programme, and the main pillars of its cultural offering. FITUR LGBT+ will also serve as a stage to invite leading LGBTIQA+ tourism destinations to be part of the Gay Games experience and share this collective dream.
Beyond data and figures, Gay Games València will use the FITUR platform to underline the importance of events that leave a lasting legacy — transforming realities and helping host cities become safer, more inclusive and more aware. In this context, initiatives such as local grants will be presented. These grants provide support for essential needs like accommodation and local transport, helping to remove barriers and make participation possible. The programme will also introduce city-wide training projects aimed at fostering inclusion and awareness across the host community.
